MyScript Calculator

During a recent math activity, my fifth graders enjoyed using a new app, MyScript Calculator. With the free app, users handwrite mathematical expressions onto the screen and see them instantly converted to type and solved. My class was captivated. Since then, I've shared the app with a few adults, only to see jaws drop in amazement.

Greg Tang's Winter Olympics Math Challenge

Are you ready for the Olympics? The MATH Olympics, that is.

Math educator and author, Greg Tang, has created a math challenge for children to compete in during the Winter Olympics, February 6 - February 28. During the competition, students use the free games and books on GregTangMath.com and can be entered into a prize drawing by their parent or teacher at the conclusion of the games.
