Number Corner Resource & Tech Links – Kindergarten

The following resources extend beyond the current Bridges program and complement specific months of Number Corner. These resources may be used to provide students additional challenge or support or teachers may decide to share some of them with families so students can review content at home. Some activity instructions may need to be read to Kindergarten students. Many activities can be used during whole group instruction projected from a computer or an IWB.

Speedy Pictures 1   A small quantity of dots, beads, eggs, or fingers is displayed for a few seconds, and the player clicks on the matching number. Snapdragon Tell the Time - use arrows to move clock hands in one hour increments to match the given time in words. "Set clock to six o'clock." Bean Clock Activity Time Teacher could read time and have students determine time on clock and how far to move clock hands.
Class Clock - a clock tool for teaching time. Display for whole class instruction. Bean Clock Activity Time Display analog or digital clocks. Advance clock hands by increments of: 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes or 1 hour. Could be used as another way to show what's happening on the bean clock.
